This year's theme is:

'Time and Space'

A film with a theme centering around time and/or space.

 

THE RULES

​

All teams must register to enter by messaging us below stating your team name and contact name.

​

Films must be no longer than 5 minutes including credits.

​

At 6AM GMT on Saturday 4th November 2023 all teams will receive an email containing elements which must be included in the film.  These include props

( common everyday day objects ) , a line of dialogue and an action. Each element is to be included in separate scenes.

Each team must submit a link to their completed film on either Vimeo or Youtube by 6AM GMT on Monday 6th November 2023.

​

​All completed films will be screened at Leicester Film Festival on 25th November.

​

By submitting your film to Leicester Film Festival, filmmakers grant Leicester Film Festival the right to publicly screen and use the film for promotional purposes in part or entirety without limitation or royalty.

​

All films must be original works and must not contain copyright material. Music licenses must be clearly stated in the credits and may be requested by Leicester Film Festival.

​

Awards will be presented for Best 48 Hour Film. Awards certificates can be collected at the live festival.

​​

Successful teams are invited to attend Leicester Film Festival at 369 Film Studios in Leicester on 25th November and complimentary tickets will be provided.
